INDIA’S NATIONAL STAND AT IRKUTSK INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR, RUSSIA
Fulfilling aspiration of Indo-Russian business fraternity, India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) is organizing India’s first ever national level participation in the sixth edition Irkutsk International Trade Fair in Irkutsk , Russia from August 21 to 24, 2019. This multi-product B2B/ B2C event is being held with support of the Embassy of India in Russia, Government of Irkutsk Region and East Siberian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Aiming to further strengthen Indo- Russian bilateral trade relations, India’s participation in Irkutsk fair aims to provide an excellent business platform to the Indian companies in Russia’s untapped Balkan region. Significantly, the event offers an excellent opportunity to explore business alliance to the buyers not only from Russia but also from neighboring countries like China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belorussia etc. India’s participation assumes special significance as both friendly countries have fixed the target to set a target for US$ 30 billion in bilateral trade by 2025 and both the countries are working together towards developing a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). This includes the sales of commodities along with civil nuclear energy and defense equipment. The event features a bonhomie Russia towards India as they have special place for India in their hearts.
