Baapi Lahiri Kulfi Song Teaser Out starring Yuvraaj and Sambhavana

In the grim times of pandemic, the artists worldwide are coming up with various ways to entertain the people. Here is a one more effort from some eminent artists to entertain and get a smile on the faces of people staying at home and maintaining social distancing.

The Retro King Bappi Lahiri and the Folk Queen Rekha Rao come together for the first time, for the remix medley of the evergreen blockbuster Bhojpuri folk “kaise bani,kaise bani…” repackaged as “kulfi, kulfi, pyaar wali kulfi…” composed under the baton of maestro Nikhil Kamath. And when it is a jhataak dancing number of Bhojpuri folk, who better can give a tadka, than the dancing diva of Bhojpuri cinema Sambhavna Seth. Yes, she sizzles on this foot tapping number along with three hot suave gentlemen. The international awards wining Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun fame actors Kapil Kaustubh Sharma and Yuvraaj Parashar do the Desi jhatkas with her, along with the UK based dancer actor Shahjahan.

Yuvraaj Parashar, who is also an acclaimed Kathak dancer and the producer of this single says, “last year I produced 3 singles, mushy melodious Sajda, patriotic “Mehroo”
Mehroo was my first as Director and the single got 12 international awards including best director and Ganpati devotional Atharva. Now I wanted to do something very massy for pan India.”

This song which was shot before the world had gotten into lockdown, what Sambhavna has to say about her experience of doing it? “It was a great experience, working with the whole team and a wonderful opportunity to perform on this new version of the cult Bhojpuri folk song sung by none other than Bappi da!”

On when asked, what made writer and director Kapil Kaustubh Sharma accept this song, “I love dancing. In the past, I did an international single with the Norwegian band The Hungry Hearts. Now, when I got the opportunity doing a Desi dhinchaak number, of course I had to do it!
