This definitely will affect the esports industry in India. The biggest market in India is Mobile Gaming and therefore PUBG Mobile played an important role. Government did whats right for the nation but this will affect those who were dependent on PUBG mobile

How will this step impact aspiring gamers?
Some of them must be feeling very lost right now but they will transition into some other game in near future.  Due to this ban they are gonna discover newer games and also there is gonna be some more light on the PC gaming industry in India

What are the best alternatives for PUBG?
I think COD and freefire are the best alternatives as of now.

Were you sad the moment you watched the news that PUBG is going to be banned in India?
I was definitely shocked, but I knew that we can’t be dependent on PUBG. I think this ban ought to happen and so everyone was prepared.

What’s the latest update by PUBG India to revoke the ban?
I think the distribution from TENCENT in India is going to be revoked and PUBG will be associated with some other company.

What’s the future of ONLINE STREAM GAMING in India?
I hope the future of online streaming is PC games but I think the market in India is so concentrated on Mobile Games, so it might just be some other game that replaces PUBG.
