[Shenzhen, China, May 12, 2020] Huawei, the world’s leading ICT provider, has established an alliance with 18 automakers to build a 5G-enabled automobile ecosphere to accelerate commercial use of 5G technologies in the industry. The first batch of 18 automakers of this alliance include First Automobile Group, Chang’an Automobile, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, SAIC Motor Corporation, Guangzhou Automobile Group, BYD Auto, Great Wall Motors, Chery Holdings and JAC Motors.

“Together with the deep convergence of automotive and ICT, intelligent connected vehicle emerges as a new revolutionary development engine of human society, with its impact goes far beyond the two industries themselves,” said Eric Xu, Huawei Rotating Chairman.

With advantages in transmission speed, reliability and low latency, 5G technology is considered essential for enhancing connected vehicles’ self-driving and entertainment capabilities.

According to GlobalData, Asia-Pacific (APAC) will be the leading region in terms of 5G technology adoption with 1.14 billion subscribers, accounting for 65% of global 5G subscriptions by 2024, which will significantly influence the segments like IoT and automobile. Since the launch of its first 5G communications hardware MH5000 in April 2019, Huawei has provided products and technologies such as the T-Box platform for ecosystem partners to support 5G vehicle and 5G+C-V2X intelligent network application innovation.

In April, Huawei launched a new DC fast-charging module product “Huawei HiCharger”, a solution to NEV charging infrastructures. The company is also building an open intelligent-driving platform to study app interface, car controlling systems, smart cockpits and the internet of vehicles. Over the past year, many international and domestic automotive companies have launched various innovations in self-driving, intelligent network, and information services based on Huawei’s 5G products and solutions, gradually enabling consumers to perceive the value of 5G technologies in automobiles.

“Huawei does not make cars”, said Eric Xu. “Based on ICT, Huawei aims to be a digital car oriented and new-added components provider.”

राष्ट्रीय, 4 मई 2020: गृह मंत्रालय (एमएचए) द्वारा देश के चयनित क्षेत्रों में पाबंदियों में ढील दिये जाने के साथ, भारत के अग्रणी मोबिलिटी प्लेटफॉर्म और विश्व की सबसे बड़ी राइड-हेलिंग कंपनियों में से एक, ओला ने आज नई सुरक्षा पहल ‘10 स्टेप्स टू अ सेफर राइड’ लॉन्च की है। इस पहल को ग्रीन और ऑरेंज जोन वाले करीब 100 शहरों में परिचालन दोबारा शुरू होने के बाद लाया गया है। ओला के लिए सुरक्षा सबसे महत्‍वपूर्ण है, जिसके अनुसार यह पहल कोविड-19 के युग में स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण की साझा जिम्मेदारी के महत्व को दोहराते हुए ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स और ग्राहकों के लिये राइडिंग का एक सुरक्षित अनुभव देने की कंपनी की प्रतिबद्धता को मजबूत करती है।

ओला की ‘10 स्टेप्स टू अ सेफर राइड’ पहल सभी राइड्स में सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिये ग्राहकों और ड्राइवर पार्टनर्स के बराबर योगदान के महत्व पर जोर देती है। प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार सभी राइड्स केवल चिन्हित सुरक्षा क्षेत्रों में होंगी और प्रत्येक ड्राइवर-पार्टनर द्वारा सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिये हर राइड से पहले और बाद में एक अनिवार्य सेल्फी प्रमाणन प्रणाली रखी गई है। इसके अलावा, प्रत्येक राइड के बाद सभी कारों को साफ और सैनिटाइज किया जाएगा और एक फ्‍लेक्सिबल कैंसेलेशन स्‍कीम भी रखी गई है, जिसके अंतर्गत ग्राहक और ड्राइवर पार्टनर किसी राइड को कैंसेल सकते हैं, यदि उन्हें लगे कि दूसरा पक्ष नियमों का पालन नहीं कर रहा है या मास्क नहीं पहन रहा है।  

कंपनी ने ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स और ग्राहकों के लिये 5-5 सावधानी के उपाय निर्धारित किये हैंजो उन्हें सोशल डिस्‍टेंसिंगसैनिटाइजेशन और व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता के लिये प्रोत्साहित करते हैं। प्रोटोकॉल्स इस प्रकार हैं :

ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स के लियेः

  1. रेड जोन्स में यात्रा नहीं:  वाहन सरकार द्वारा चिन्हित रेड या कंटेनमेन्ट जोन्स में नहीं चलेंगे।
  2. ड्राइवरों के लिये सेल्फी-प्रमाणनः सभी ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स को मास्क पहनने हैं और अपने पार्टनर एप के माध्यम से एक सेल्फी शेयर कर हर राइड के शुरू होने से पहले इसका प्रमाण देना है।
  3. स्वच्छता किट्स से युक्त होनाः ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स को मास्कसैनिटाइजर्स और डिसइंफेक्टैन्ट्स दिये जाएंगे और वे अपने शहरों के सभी वॉक-इन सेंटर्स में यह चीजें ले सकते हैं।
  4. कारों की नियमित सफाईः आम उपयोग की सतहोंजैसे हैण्डलइनर हैण्डल और सीट को हर राइड के पहले साफ करना होगा।
  5. फ्‍लेक्सिबल कैंसेलेशन ड्राइवर और ग्राहक के पास राइड को कैंसेल करने का विकल्प होगायदि दोनों में से कोई मास्क न पहनेताकि उनकी और अन्य यूजर्स की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित हो सके।

ग्राहकों के लियेः

  1. मास्क पहनना अनिवार्य हैः कैब की बोर्डिंग करने वाले सभी ग्राहकों के लिये मास्क पहनना अनिवार्य है और हर राइड के पहले तथा बाद में सैनिटाइज होना चाहिये।
  2. एसी बंद रहेंगेः हवा के रि-सर्कुलेशन को रोकने के लिये एसी बंद रहेगा और खिड़कियाँ हर राइड में खुली रहेंगी।
  3. प्रति कार यात्रीः कैब में प्रति राइड केवल दो यात्रियों की अनुमति होगी। उन्हें खिड़की के पास या कार में पीछे बैठने का आग्रह भी किया जाएगा।
  4. लगेज को खुद ही लोड और अनलोड करें: सोशल डिस्‍टेंसिंग का पालन करने के लिये ग्राहकों से खुद ही लगेज को लोड और अनलोड करने का आग्रह किया जाता है।
  5. नगदरहित भुगतानः ग्राहकों से राइड के लिये नगदरहित भुगतान करने का आग्रह किया जाता हैताकि अनावश्यक संपर्क से बचा जा सके।

इस पहल के लॉन्च और परिचालन दोबारा शुरू होने पर टिप्पणी करते हुए ओला के प्रवक्ता एवं संवाद प्रमुख आनंद सुब्रमण्यिन ने कहा, ‘‘हम इस कठिन समय में मोबिलिटी को महत्व देने के लिये केन्द्र सरकार को धन्यवाद देते हैं। लाखों नागरिकों की यात्रा और ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स की आजीविका के लिये हमने अपने प्लेटफॉर्म को दोबारा शुरू किया है और हम उन दोनों की सुरक्षा को सबसे अधिक प्राथमिकता देते हैं। कोविड-19 के विरूद्ध हमारी लड़ाई एक संयुक्त प्रयास है, जो तभी संभव होगा, जब ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स और ग्राहक यह सुनिश्चित करने में योगदान देंगे कि परिवहन सभी के लिये सुरक्षित और उच्च गुणवत्ता का हो।’’

उन्होंने आगे कहा, ‘‘10 स्टेप्स टू अ सेफर राइड’ ग्राहकों और ड्राइवर-पार्टनर्स से 10 सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्वच्छता उपायों को अपनाने का आग्रह करती है, ताकि उन पर और समुदाय पर कोरोनावायरस का जोखिम न हो। संक्रमण को कम करने के अपने प्रयास में रोकथाम के आवश्यक उपाय करने के लिये एकजुट होने से अच्छे परिणाम मिलेंगे और हम मजबूत बनकर उभरेंगे।’’

केन्द्र सरकार के नियमों का पालन करने हुए ओला केवल ऑरेंज और ग्रीन जोन्स में परिचालन करेगा और स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के सुरक्षा नियमों को मानेगा। इन शहरों में आज से ही परिचालन चरणबद्ध तरीके से लॉन्च होगा। मौजूदा प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार, अस्पतालों की यात्रा के लिये 15 शहरों में ओला इमरजेंसी सर्विसेज चालू रहेंगी ।

Music industry body PPL (Phonographic Performance Ltd.), which collects sound recording royalties on behalf of the music industry has appointed G.B. Aayeer as its new CEO.

Honor is all set to add a new mid-range smartphone to its portfolio dubbed Honor Play 4T. The company has confirmed the launch itself which is slated for next week. Recently, the company had introduced another smartphone in the Play series called the Honor Play 9A.

The leaked poster of the Honor Play 4T revels that it will be sporting a waterdrop notch screen. The rear side of the device has the trendy rectangle-shaped camera module. It houses three cameras and an LED flash. The poster reveals that the Play 4T will arrive in green and blue shades.The key specs shared by the tipster is an exact match the specifications of the AQM-AL10 phone. Also, the above shown poster resembles with the TENAA images of AQM-AL10.

Considering that the Honor Play 4T has AQM-AL10 model, it can be said that it will be arriving with a 6.3-inch OLED panel that supports 1080 x 2400 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The device houses a 4,000mAh battery. The 3C appearance of the AQM-AL10 revealed that it will carry support for 22.5W fast charging. The phone measures 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.5mm and it weighs 163 grams.

The 2.27GHz Kirin 810 chipset will power the device with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. The handset will land in China in 128 GB and 256 GB storage choices. The Android 10 OS will be preinstalled on the device.

For shooting selfies, it possesses a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The rear shell of the phone has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. Lastly, the handset features an in-screen fingerprint reader.
