From 27th February to 1st march E-cell of MAHARAJA SURAJMAL INSTITUTE(MSI) had its annual flagship event E-SUMMIT’19.
Entrepreneurship-cell of MSI provides a platform for interaction of students with entrepreneurs. It’s mission is to inspire and guide people to pursue entrepreneurship. It has organised various events like Marketing Maestro in which the participants had to create and sell a product and many more like Best interview Contest, TRADEZAPH which taught them the practical skills of entrepreneurship and mentor sessions where entrepreneurs shared their experiences, achievements and the most important of all mistakes after all people learn from mistakes but they don’t necessarily have to be your own mistakes.
The theme for this E-SUMMIT was Emerging entrepreneur ecosystem. Why was this chosen as the theme for E-summit?Because the many different elements that make up the entrepreneur’s ecosystem eventually contribute to the success, or failure, of an entrepreneurial venture. Interdependent factors such as local government policies, educational systems, family and social networks, business development programs, innovation hubs, financial institutions, research centers, local infrastructure, and cultural and social norms play fundamental roles in enabling or constraining entrepreneurship.
Apart from Mock-stock, Finance quiz and an interactive session on Stock market with Mr.R.K Arora from NIESBUD,CEO FACTORY E-SUMMIT brought an enriching and enlightening panel discussion and interactive session with successful and distinguished entrepreneurs and corporates which included Ms. Tanya Kathpal, Founder of EAT MY NEWS, Mr.Pratik Gauri, Founder and chairman of INY Foundation, Global shaper at World Economic Forum, Mr. Shivansh Garg, Founder of YOUNGENGINE, Mr.Rangnath Krishna Chandra, Senior Advisor with NIESBUD.
