That is what happened when Naira (Shivangi Joshi) from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai bought her dream luxury car and called her mentor Rajan Shahi and took him for a drive. Rajan Shahi is known for his casting and his ability to spot talent. Shivangi is an example of that. Her portrayal of Naira has given a different dimension to the show. Rajan took to his social media handle to share his joy. He wrote,”Today is a proud moment Shivangi. This new car you bought symbolises the hard work and honesty towards work. You have made a benchmark and this will take you to a new journey full of peace, happiness, success and prosperity. In line with this year’s theme of World Health Day “Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere”, the brand pledges to enable every person to achieve good health and secure oneself from the rising costs of healthcare facilities.

According to WHO, about 100 million people are still being pushed into extreme poverty each year due to out of pocket medical expenses with almost 12% of the world’s population spending at least 10% of their household budgets to pay for health care. While the health condition is mostly unforeseen, it is imperative to prepare for such eventualities. A large percentage of the working class in India continues to rely on the health coverage provided by their employers. In case of a critical illness, these group covers often fall short of the requirement considering the growing cost of healthcare facilities. The rising medical costs and changing lifestyle makes it inevitable to include health insurance as part of financial investments.

Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Anjali Malhotra, Chief Customer, Marketing and Digital Officer, Aviva Life Insurance said, “We, at Aviva, strongly believe that Universal Health Coverage is a must and that everyone should have access to quality health services, when and where they need them, without financial hardship. We also understand that medical emergencies can arise anytime. Due to the changing lifestyles and increasing stress levels, people are now more prone to a lot of critical illness. Additionally, with the spiraling cost of medical treatment, it is advised to secure yourself and your loved ones with a comprehensive health plan. It allows you to defy the uncertainty in life and lets you lead a peaceful and secured life.”

Aviva Health Secure offers insured protection against 12 critical illnesses. In case of any medical emergency, the total sum assured is paid out irrespective of the bills and cost incurred. This ensures that the individual is secured not just against the medical treatment but pre and post hospitalization charges as well. Additionally, according to the National Family Health Survey less than one-third of households usually, have at least one member covered under health insurance or health schemes. Aviva Heart Care is a plan dedicated to the heart that secures the heart of individuals as well as of couples against 19 heart conditions and also the loss of income due to illness.

No one should have to choose between good health and other necessities of life. Planning finances on time and investing in a health insurance plan would ensure a secured future, financially. Irrespective of profession or lifestyle, health is a human right and universal health coverage is possible. So, this World Health Day, it is time pledge to secure your health as well as of your loved ones.

In this weekend’s episode of COLORS’ recently launched legal- crime drama show, Courtroom- Sacchai Haazir ho, viewers will come across a spine chilling case about a sinister criminal, Sushil Singh who committed heinous atrocities against women without a blink of an eye. His torture went on for years until the vengeful locals gave him a taste of his own medicine.

Sushil Singh, tortured and ruthlessly harassed female residents of Indira Nagar for many years. After having had enough from him, in 2005, the locals finally decided to raise their voice and retaliate in full force. The angry mob took a daring step of burning down his house , an attack which he stealthily escaped. Soon after, he surprisingly surrendered to the police for a different case to buy time. After his bail from prison, he went on to take revenge from everyone involved in burning down his house.

Later, when Sushil was being taken for his bail hearing to the Additional Sessions court, he met his ultimate fate. Around 75 to 100 people had nabbed and brutally lynched him in the court itself. However, police only booked 8 people for the crime.

In 2014, the court ruled in favour of the locals. The lack of strong evidence also led to the acquittal of these local attackers. Although, the court agreed to the fact that Sushil was lynched and the accused could have been present in the court premises on the said day,the prosecution however could not strongly establish their case.

This legal proceeding is a shining example of the impartial nature of our judiciary system where the final decisions are taken only on the basis of facts and compelling evidence.

To know more, keep watching Courtoom – Sacchai Haazir ho every Saturday and Sunday at 7pm only on COLORS.
